The boxes came out great, exactly how I thought they would! Easy to hang. Jake was very professional and kind in all his communications, and the boxes came right away!

I purchased four of these wine butlers to give out to friends and family as holiday gifts. I could totally see these working as centerpieces for regular dinner parties or get togethers too. They’re simply elegant.

The order arrived very fast. The wine butlers are exactly as shown in the picture—gorgeous!!! I love them. The quality and craftsmanship is excellent. I will definitely buy from Jake in the future.

I purchased two sets and then three more because they are so cool. They arrived super fast and look even better in person. Good job Jake Wilson, keep up the quality work.

This custom-made combination coat rack/shelf is exactly what I hoped it would be! It is honestly one of my favorite things that I own, and has become the focal point of my room.

About Me

Growing up in western Washington, the forest always played an integral part in shaping my life. In the early years, my hometown Port Angeles was a prosperous and booming logging town, central to the state’s wood commerce. My dad comes from a long family line of loggers, and throughout my childhood he worked at the local pulp mill on the waterfront. When the mill closed in 1997, dad decided to take a cabinetry course and built a wood shop in the back of our home. At the same time, I enrolled in woodworking classes at high school and realized I too had found a passion for making things out of wood.

I enrolled in a woodworking college in Seattle where I was able to hone my expertise. After that, for a time, I worked in a cabinet shop in Kent, but soon found myself longing to return to the serenity of the Olympic Peninsula. The beauty of the mountains, streams and forests pulled me back to Port Angeles. When I came back I took over the shop that dad had built many years ago.

Today, the shop produces custom wood works that range from bars, tables and desks to decorative shelving, home décor and select creative customer designs. I work and support local businesses and strive for quality and sustainability in all work products.

When I'm not spending my time in the shop, you might find me exploring a stream with my dog, Bliss, or snowboarding on our favorite local mountain Hurricane Ridge.

Happy Woodworking!
